Joel's lifelong passion for music began at an early age—singing, playing, and performing as a bassist in various bands throughout his career. After spending 12 years as a worship leader at his local church, he began buying and selling used musical instruments and PA equipment on eBay. What started as a hobby soon evolved into a clear vision for the future.
In 2015, Joel made the decision to take early retirement from his corporate career. Together with his wife, Becky, they turned that vision into a business. What began in a modest 1,100 sq. ft. space has since grown into a 5,500+ sq. ft. storefront with a fully equipped sales floor and multiple lesson studios.
Sadly, after a 2-year battle with Cancer, Joel passed away on September 26th, 2024. Today, Becky continues to live out Joel's dream of owning a music store and helping musicians at every stage find the gear, service, and support they need.
