  A long-time church pianist, Mandy has been a music instructor for the past 15 years. Mandy has a BS in Elementary Education and a BS in Secondary Education in Music and English from Champion Christian College. She plays traditional hymn-style piano. Mandy is available for lessons Mondays afternoons and Thursdays mornings at the store.

 Tyler has been drumming for 15 years with world class ensembles such as Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corp, Infinity Percussion, Disney, and the UCF Marching Knights. He was taught by UCF professor and Bill Evans Trio drummer Marty Morrell. Tyler has taught percussion at Ancient City Ensemble, Eustis, Lake Mary and Tavares high schools. Available Monday and Wednesday evenings.

 Nathan Jay Leslie is a local musical artist and instructor who’s lived and performed all over Central Florida for over 20 years. He studied classical piano from age 5 and has expanded to all styles and genres of music. Nathan is also an accomplished guitar player. Nathan writes and performs all types of music. He uses the Suzuki fend at Leesburg Music on Wednesdays.

 Samantha has been scheduling the lessons for over four months here at Leesburg Music. Samee started playing guitar when she was 12 years old. In 2008 she was accepted into the classical guitar program at Florida State University, and graduated with a BA degree in Commercial Music. Samee spent 7 years working for an entertainment rental house with a focus on audio equipment. Samee specializes in classical technique and sight reading. Available Wednesday evenings.

Jaime joins the Leesburg Music staff from working several years in music stores in the area. He studied music in college and has been teaching for over 35 years. Jaime plays locally in a jazz group. He plays and teaches trumpet, saxophone and flute. Available Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

 Jodi Wagner is now available to teach drums at Leesburg Music. Jodi has been playing for 30+ years. He plays in a jazz trio and a 4-piece rock band. He teaches on Friday afternoons/evenings and Saturdays .

Alan Brandel began his musical journey at the age of 8 with the Ukulele. Soon after, he took up guitar and violin. In High school, he began teaching Music Lessons and traveling with a gospel band. In 2001 Alan graduated with his Doctorate degree from Luther Rice University. Sin

Alan Brandel began his musical journey at the age of 8 with the Ukulele. Soon after, he took up guitar and violin. In High school, he began teaching Music Lessons and traveling with a gospel band. In 2001 Alan graduated with his Doctorate degree from Luther Rice University. Since this time, along with teaching, Alan has played in a number of bands, churches, and events. In 2011 he was brought on to Disneys Polynesian Show where he played the steel guitar, ukuele, bass, and drums. Alan continues to share his love of stringed instruments with all ages, through teaching!  Available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Fridays along with Saturday mornings.

Myra holds a bachelor of music education degree from Arkansas State University. She has taught choral and instrumental music on all levels of education in both public and private settings. Locally, Mrs. Johnson has taught at Blue Lake Academy and Fruitland Park Elementary. She teaches piano and woodwind instruments. Available Friday afternoons.

 Michael was born and raised in New England and came to Florida in 2008. He is 31 years old and has been playing guitar since the age of 13. He studied music at Eastern Florida Sate College in Cocoa. He hopes to inspire others to put in the same hard work that he does in his music. He specializes in Rock and Metal music but plays

He hopes to inspire others to put in the same hard work that he does in his music. He specializes in Rock and Metal music but plays and teaches a variety of styles. He teaches various techniques on guitar including; finger picking, hybrid picking, sweep picking, alternate and economy picking, legato, string skipping, and 2 hand tapping. He tries to make guitar playing as efficient as possible, utilizing the concept of economy of motion. Available weekday evenings and Saturdays.

  Raymond is a former band director, choir director, music teacher, and minister of music. He has taught private lessons on several instruments locally, at First Academy, Blue Lake Academy, Daystar Academy, St. Paul's Catholic School, and ABC Music. He has a master of music education from Arkansas State University. Available Friday afternoons.

Terms and Conditions

Leesburg Music offers lessons everyday we are open and at a wide range of time slots.  Here are some more details for you.

  • 30 Minute Lessons = $25 Each
  • 1 Hour lessons = $45 Each

Some information about cancelations 

  • Call ahead if your not able to make it. Preferably a 24 hour notice is best.
  • If you cancel, within 24 hours, you could be charged for it. 
  • Just let us know as soon as possible on any cancelations. 

Some information for new students.

  • If you are interested in taking lessons please call or come in to fill out paperwork and find a time slot and a teacher that works for you.
